Hill Equipment Sales Ltd. is a used equipment sales company that maintains a sales yard in the interior of British Columbia. Hill Equipment maintains an inventory of good quality used forestry equipment at its Prince George location and specializes in exporting used forestry equipment into the U.S. and international markets.

Project Overview

Point One Media has been working with Hill Equipment for a number of years. For 2011, we upgraded Hill Equipment into a content manager system that was even easier to use. Along with this upgrade in technology, we gave the website a brand new look and feel that looks richer and makes it simple for site visitors to find what they are looking for instantly.

If the company expands its inventory, limitless categories can be added to the store to allow for easy expansion of the inventory lists. In addition, if the company chooses to sell the product online using a real-time payment integration, the catalog can easily be converted to accommodate.

One key feature of the Hill Equipment site is how it has been designed to only show visitors the categories in which there are products listed under, meaning that there are no empty categories visible on the site.

Results

Hill Equipment Ltd. now has a brand new look and feel to its website. The end result is an easier to navigate used equipment catalog that is very easy for the client to update on a daily basis. Site visitors can now contact Hill from any page on the site using the Used Equipment Contact forms. The client instantly knows what products the person that has contacted them is interested in. The technology Point One Media used to power the website for Hill Equipment will also help the website place higher in search engines and increase site traffic, which will lead to more sales.
